Chinese nuclear power giant releases its first tech service brand – Global Times

China National Nuclear Power (CNNP) released its first technical service brand “I-Nuclear” on September 25, 2024, in Shanghai to provide comprehensive technical support for the safe and efficient operation of nuclear power plants. “I-Nuclear” builds on eight technical service products introduced in 2017 and is designed to meet the diverse needs of the future nuclear power market. The brand aims to position CNNP as a leading one-stop provider of nuclear power technology services, covering production preparation, nuclear commissioning, operational support, major overhauls, specialized maintenance, professional training, technical support, and nuclear informatization. Lu Tiezhong, chairman of CNNP, emphasized that the platform will enhance safety and operational standards in the nuclear sector and is a reflection of CNNP’s operational experience and commitment to nuclear safety. The ceremony was part of CNNP’s culture festival, where it was also announced that a new cultural creativity and brand studio would be established. Fang Xin, former deputy secretary of the Party Leadership Group of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, highlighted the significance of “I-Nuclear” in advancing China’s nuclear industry and the nation’s ongoing commitment to technological innovation in nuclear power.
